Deputy Chief of Mission, U.S. Embassy in Japan, U.S. Consul General, Osaka-Kobe, and others visit Hiroshima Laboratory
On Wednesday, July 2, RERF Hiroshima Laboratory welcomed a five-person U.S. delegation, including Mr. Aaron D. Snipe, Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Japan; Mr. Jason R. Cubas, U.S. Consul General in Osaka-Kobe; and Mr. Travis Hall, Political-Economic Chief at the U.S. Consulate General Osaka-Kobe.
The delegation received a briefing from the Chair and Vice Chair on the history and significance of RERF’s nearly eight decades of research. Following the briefing, the visitors toured RERF’s facilities, including the Biosample Research Center. Thanks to the delegation’s strong interest, thoughtful questions, and a lively exchange of views, the visit was a very meaningful occasion for RERF.
