As reported previously, RERF’s Hiroshima Laboratory is scheduled to relocate to the Hiroshima University Kasumi Campus next year, 2027.

To this point in time, RERF has accepted facility tours and visits from members of the general public upon request. However, due to preparations associated with RERF’s move, we are planning to suspend the acceptance of requests for facility tours at the Hiroshima Laboratory beginning in August 2026 until further notice.

However, please note that requests for facility tours conducted for research purposes by individuals affiliated with universities, research institutions, or similar organizations will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If you would like to plan such a visit, please contact RERF at the information provided below.

For your reference, applications from the general public for facility tours at the Nagasaki Laboratory will continue to be accepted.
