Announcing conditional restart of facility visits:
RERF has decided to resume, on a limited and conditional basis, acceptance of reservations for facility visits. To reduce coronavirus risk, a limited number of ‘tours’ for the time being will take place in a presentation format at the adjacent Hijiyama Hall, rather than inside the RERF facilities. Because visits might have to be refused depending on the coronavirus infection situation and other conditions, we ask that you please give us a call at the telephone number indicated below when planning a visit to RERF.

Tour reservations

RERF offers facility tours, with staff introducing the organization’s history and details of research. To take one of our tours, reservations must be made in advance.
Note: Tours generally take one hour, with 20 minutes for an introductory video and 40 minutes for a guided tour.

Tour times

Tours are offered two days a week, on Wednesday and Friday, at 9:30-10:30 and 13:30-14:30
(excluding Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, year-end/start-of-new-year periods, August 1-16).

*For schools, tours are possible at times other than those indicated above. Please consult with us beforehand regarding available times and dates.
