  • RERF’s message regarding the Tohoku Earthquake

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to all those affected by the recent earthquake that struck in Japan’s Tohoku region. In response to the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, the Radiation Effects Research Foundation has enhanced our activities with other related organizations for support of medical countermeasure efforts, including dispatch to the affected region of radiation specialists. It is hoped that the radiation-related information posted on our website can help resolve any questions and concerns about radiation. We also fervently hope and pray for the affected region’s timely recovery.
