About

My research interests center on elucidating the contribution of environmental factors, particularly lifestyle habits, to radiation effects. Since joining RERF, I have been focused on utilizing data concerning physical activity and exercise from the existing survey information collected by ABCC/RERF. Specifically, I am conducting data analysis focusing on the levels of physical activity and its changes over time among atomic bomb survivors, and its association with mortality.
Based on my expertise in behavioral science and epidemiology, I aim to contribute to generating critical insights that can mitigate radiation effects by clarifying the role and relevance of lifestyle habits. I intend to deepen my research methodologies and advance further studies through collaboration with researchers both within and outside RERF.
